What USERMAP.lol is
USERMAP.lol is an entertainment website. It shows a map of the world, and you can pay to put your name, handle, or website link on a country. That is the whole product.
Paying here gives you no rights of any kind over any real country, territory, land, government, or people. You are buying a listing on a novelty website and nothing else.
How claiming works
- An unclaimed country can be claimed for $1.00 or more.
- A claimed country can be taken from its current holder by paying at least 1.5× what they paid.
- The highest paid bid holds the country. There is no time limit and no expiry — you hold it until somebody pays more.
- Every past holder stays visible in that country's claim history.
Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details.
Claims are non-refundable. Being outbid later is the normal working of the site, not a fault, and does not entitle you to a refund.
There is one exception, and it is automatic: if somebody else's higher payment lands while you are still paying, you do not get the country and your payment is refunded in full without you asking. You will see this on the confirmation page.
Prices are in US dollars. Your bank may add currency conversion or other fees that we neither set nor receive.
What you may put on the map
By claiming a country you confirm that the handle, name, or link you submit is yours to use.
You may not submit anything that:
- is illegal, or promotes illegal activity;
- impersonates another person, brand, or organisation;
- links to malware, phishing, or deceptive content;
- is sexually explicit, hateful, or harassing;
- is designed to mislead about who or what it belongs to.
We may remove any claim that breaks these rules, without a refund, and may refuse future claims from the same source. We do not review claims before they appear, so if you find something that breaks these rules, please report it and we will look.

Claims can point at websites we do not run and do not check. Following a link from this map is at your own risk, and a listing here is not an endorsement.
Country names and borders
Country shapes and names come from the public Natural Earth dataset. They are used because they are freely available and convenient, and are not a statement of any political position on borders, sovereignty, or disputed territories.
Platform names and logos
X, Instagram, and TikTok are trademarks of their respective owners. Their marks appear only to show which platform a handle belongs to. USERMAP.lol is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of them.
Availability
The site is provided as is, with no guarantee that it will be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent. We may change how it works, and we may shut it down. If we shut it down, claims end with it — a claim is not a lasting asset.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected with this site is limited to the amount you have paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost opportunities.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
